INTERNATIONAL building firm Hastie Group will expand its hydraulics business to New South Wales after acquiring Sydney-based Nisbet & Durney.
The company will cross-sell its hydraulic products and services through the acquisition of the business, which specialises in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
The agreement was secured with an initial $15.7m payment as well as a performance based earn-out over the next year.
Nisbet & Durney will now operate alongside CDC Plumbing & Drainage in Victoria and Beavis & Bartels and GTS Plumbing in Queensland.
