CAPS Australia reassesses benefits of air compressors reducing power bills CAPS Australia reassesses the benefits of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) air compressors to reduce power costs before electricity prices soar.

CAPS Australia says VSD air compressors has soft starts drawing less full load amps to start up unlike on/off compressors which would require three to six times the normal running current.

According to CAPS Australia, compressors often have the largest electric motor on site but VSD air compressors will not exceed peak load amps with their soft starts.
