PARKER Hannifin has announced the acquisition of German hydraulic manufacturer Lingk & Sturzebecher (L&S).
L&S manufactures light-weight, carbon fibre cylinders and actuators, including composite material units for the industrial market.
Parker says the composite material technology will allow it to develop hydraulic components with energy recovery systems as well as reduced consumption.
The acquired company will become part of Parker’s global operations and complement a broad line of hydraulic components and systems.
The details of the transaction were not disclosed.
