PNEUMAGNETIC says its new cost saving solenoid valve actuator option is now available for use with select Parker Skinner 7000 series valves.
According to PneuMagnetic, the actuator option converts direct acting solenoid valves pneumatic operation, by quickly replacing the Parker Skinner actuator coil with its patented PneuMagnetic Actuator.
The manufacturer says the solution is cost-effective when applied in EX (explosion proof) and IS (intrinsically safe) installations, since the electric hazard can be entirely removed from the hazardous area and replaced with an air line.
As the need for wiring and conduit installations is eliminated, simultaneously improving safety and reducing the cost of the valve. The Parker Skinner 7000 series is available both two-way N.C. direct and pilot operated and is offered in brass and stainless steel models.
PneuMagnetic says all of its actuators are available for purchase via its website.
