UK based Thorite has recently donated a number of Norgren pneumatic control spool valves to the Engineering Department at Bradford College to offer students hands-on experience in pneumatic control technology.
According to Thorite, the donation followed a request from Neil Barker, the College’s Engineering Trainer Assessor. To help broaden students overall knowledge base for turning, milling, fitting and maintenance skills.
Thorite says the valves normally used by a broad range of manufacturing & process industries to power pneumatic actuators will assist with demonstrating typical configurations and flow paths, whilst being stripped down to reveal internal construction and maintenance requirements.
Thorite is a UK supplier of air compressors, air tools, pneumatics and process products.
