Treasurer visits new facility

THE FEDERAL Treasurer, Wayne Swan, toured Custom Fluidpower’s new office on 14 July 2008.

The hydraulics manufacturer’s facility is located within Swan’s north-Brisbane electorate of Lilley.

The treasurer was given a guided tour of the offices, the workshop and the manufacturing facilities.

He also was given a turn at operating a remotely operated mini-excavator, designed for the company’s presentation at the upcoming 2008 Queensland Mining Exhibition (QME).
