EXAIR has released an air nozzle it says can deliver a strong blowing force even when mounted up to 30cm away.
The company says the 32mm Super Air Nozzle can deliver over 12 times the blowing force of ordinary nozzles. This makes it suitable for blowing heavy materials and for applications where the nozzle can’t be mounted close to the surface.
The unit operates at air pressures of 5.5 bar at consumes up to 5.3 cubic metres of compressed air per minute.
The developer says the device delivers a concentrated airflow by directing the air through a series of holes to a convergence point. It also reduces the noise levels of open pipe configurations by 27dBA.
