EXAIR has released the digital Electronic Temperature Control (ETC) Cabinet Cooler System, said to keep electrical enclosures cool while minimising compressed air use.
EXAIR says the ETC Cabinet Cooler System can accurately maintain a constant temperature slightly under the maximum rating of the electronics. The lower the cooling temperature, the more compressed air is required.
Therefore, according to EXAIR, the ETC Cabinet Cooler System delivers sufficient cooling for the electronics without reaching temperatures levels that would waste compressed air.
The ETC Cabinet Cooler System incorporates a solid state circuitry that detects the slightest change in temperature. Models for 120 or 240V AC are available.
EXAIR says the ETC Cabinet Cooler System features a digital readout LED, which displays the temperature of the electrical enclosure in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit and then displays the user setting when the ‘push to set’ button is pressed.
When this setting is exceeded, the ETC Cabinet Cooler System will circulates -7 degree Celsius air through the electrical enclosure to prevent a high temperature malfunction. It has a cooling capacity up to 2800Btu per hour.
According to EXAIR, the ETC Cabinet Cooler System control panel has a strong polycarbonate plastic housing with sealed membrane push button control, suitable for use in NEMA 4, 4X and 12 environments.
