KAVLICO has launched a pressure sensor for hydraulic operations with advanced electronics.
The P255 has a mixed-signal CMOS application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), which is said to provide improved EMI/RFI and accuracy specifications.
The company says the unit uses a ceramic diaphragm that can withstand a wide variety of liquids. It can measure pressures in ranges between zero to one bar and zero to 70 bar.
According to the manufacturer, the device has a linear amplified output of 0.5 to 4.5V DC, which is proportional to pressure. It also features excellent repeatability and hysteresis, over-voltage, reverse polarity, and short circuit protection.
The sensor has low power consumption, a 316 stainless steel enclosure and an operating temperature range from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius.
