RUSSELL Fraser Sales is distributing a multi-LED, broad-beam ultraviolet leak detection lamp from Spectronics.
The Spectroline TRITAN 365 can be used with the designer’s Spectroline fluorescent dyes to indicate fluid leaks in a range of hydraulic equipment and compressors.
The company says the unit features three ultra-high intensity UV LEDs for fluorescent leak detection, as well as a white light LED for general component inspection.
According to the distributor, the lamp has a broad-beam profile to provide wide area coverage, but also comes with a compact head to get into cramped areas. It has a total inspection range of 6.1m.
The device weighs only 454g and comes with a 2.4m power cord with an AC plug. It is available in 100, 120, 230 and 240V models. UV-absorbing glasses are also supplied.
A portable model, the TRITAN 365M, is also available, featuring a rechargeable battery pack and an adjustable shoulder strap.
