SMC Pneumatics has developed pneumatic actuators said to provide the stable and low-speed rotation necessary for automation processes.
The Series CRQ2X and MSQX Rotary Actuators have constructional features like special surface treatment and low speed grease as well as the removal of rubber cushioning.
The company says the units can be adjusted to provide stable, lurch-free rotation as slow as five seconds per 90 degree turn.
The device is available in sizes between ten and 50mm.
