MAXPRO Technologies has released a range of air-operated valve actuators, which can remote control capabilities in process applications.
According to Maxpro Technologies, the air-operated actuators are mounted on a standard valve body and are available in two styles. Selecting the right style depends on the valve size, system pressure and air pressure available.
Maxpro Technologies says the piston-style valve offers dependable operation and a longer actuator cycle life. The yoke-style design offers separation from process fluids and actuator air pressure. This design also indicates stem position and allows for easy stem replacement.
According to Maxpro Technologies, the air-operated actuators are available in two different sizes to cover varying plant air supplies. They are also made of anodised aluminium, which provides good corrosion resistance.
