KELAIR Pumps will showcase its range of non-stalling air pumps at the 2008 Queensland Mining Exhibition (QME).
The Sandpiper double diaphragm pumps are for use in general and underground mining operations.
The company says stalling usually occurs due to the centring of the main air valve spool. The Sandpiper pumps have a cross-drilled air system which means the air at one end of the spool is constantly replaced and pressurised. This is said to ensure the pumps will not stall.
According to the manufacturer, any replacement air system parts will be supplied free of charge should the pump stall.
