PIRTEK has released a range of seals designed especially for use with hydraulic flanges, which are used in high pressure applications across various industries.
PIRTEK says the seals are made from high grade polyurethane, which has been developed for aggressive and heavy duty applications. It can resist extrusion and compression over temperatures between -40 and 110 degrees Celsius and pressures up to 414 bar.
According to PIRTEK, the seals specifically designed to fit the SAE standard location groove on the underside of the flange, unlike common O-rings. They have a custom manufactured rectangular cross-section, which allows them to accurately located within the flange machined housing.
The seals are available in six standard sizes to suit hydraulic flanges from 12.7 to 50mm.
