TORCUP will introduce a series of industrial pneumatic torque wrenches at the 2008 Queensland Mining Exhibition (QME).
The company says the wrenches are integrated with patented gear technology for efficiency, durability and lower operational temperatures.
The designer claims the device can be adapted for confined spaces, underground conditions and hostile environments. The wrench allows a single operator to perform jobs traditionally handled by two or three people.
According to the manufacturer, the units can maintain smooth, constant speeds of up to 45RPM making it suitable for valve actuation and maintenance.
