TOLOMATIC has released a range of pneumatic rotary vane actuators designed for materials handling, pick-and-place, cutting and part feeding applications.
The VRX range can deliver up to 54.7Nm of torque at pressures up to 6.9 bar. It can also withstand axial loads up to 102Nm.
The company says the unit has larger vanes than others in its size class and can provide up to 280 degrees of rotation.
The device is available with 25.4mm, 44.45mm or 63.5mm bore sizes and with single- or double-vanes on a corrosion-resistant single- or double-ended shaft. It also features self-lubricating Highly Saturated Nitrile (HSN) seals.
