IDM INSTRUMENTS has released a pneumatic cutting press suitable for precision test sampling applications.
The IDM Cutting Press Pneumatic can be used to prepare samples of various sizes from a range of materials, including paper, polyurethane, plastics, foil, textiles and rubber.
The company says the unit is available in standard capacities of 2.5 or three tons but can be custom designed for specific applications. It has a 60mm opening as well as an open back and side design.
According to the manufacturer, the press can be fitted with a large variety of interchangeable cutting dies.
